Bandon Athletic Club celebrated its 40th birthday in 2004. These 40 years have been captured in A Photographic Jog Through the Past which is still available from committee members for anyone wishing to purchase a copy.The Club could not have survived this long without the goodwill of the people of Bandon and support from sponsors over the years. The club would like to thank all who have provided support and sponsorship over the years and particularly Fleming Construction and Bandon Credit Union who had been the main sponsor of the athletic club over the last number of years. Current and ongoing improvements to training facilities would not be possible without this support. These improvements will benefit not only the current group of athletes but also generation’s to come, so here’s to the next 40 years!!!
