West Cork Athletic Board B Athletic Championships

The West Cork B Athletic Board B Championships were held on Friday 12^th July in the panoramic setting of the Town Park. The Bandon Athletic Club ground is a natural semi amphitheatre with views over the town and beyond. Athletes from Courceys and Dohenys Club in Dunmanway travelled for the event. There were some fine performances on the night including that of Eva Stack of Bandon AC who led all the way to a convincing win, in the girls under 11 600m. The mixed club relay teams produced some exciting finishes ending the evening on a high note. The next event on the West Cork Athletics calendar is the first in the Summer League series which takes place in Bantry on Friday 26^th June at 7pm
