All Ireland Even Age Cross Country
In the All Ireland Even age Cross Country held in Killybegs on the 14th December Lynda O'Donovan was the sole representative from Bandon Athletic Club . On a tough course Lynda ran a great race in the Girls U14 and finished as one of the top 6 from Cork but unfortunately the Cork team finished outside the medals.
Munster B Uneven Age Cross Country Limerick Junction, Co.Tipperary on Sunday 7th Dec
In the Girls U9 race Laura McSweeney finished as the 6th athlete from Cork County and won a silver Munster Inter-County Medal. In the Girls U11 Anna McCarthy and Caroline Sugrue were both in the first 6 from Cork and won silver Munster Inter-County medal's. In the Boys U11 Mark O'Sullivan was 5th individual home and also won a gold Munster Inter-County medal. In the Girls U13 the team of Serena Cross, Leah Desmond, Mary Ann Hawkes and Lorraine O'Brien won a silver Inter-Club medal. In the Girls U15 the team of Michelle Hayes, Ann O'Donovan, Mairead Roche, Eilish Buttler won a gold Inter-Club medal and Michelle also won a gold Inter-County medal with the Cork team. In the Boys U17 Patrick Harnett was 7th individual and part of the Cork team which won a gold Inter-County team medal. (more results)
Also in Limerick Junction there were Inter County Cross County relay's and a number of Bandon athletes took part.
In the Boys U9 Thomas McCarthy and Jerry Crowley were on the Cork team which finished outside the medals.
In the Boys U11 Mark Sugrue was part of the Cork team that came second.
In the Girls U15 Lynda O'Donovan was on a victorious Cork team while Ronan Duggan was also on a winning Cork team in the U15 Boys.
All Ireland Uneven Age Cross Country, Mullingar, Co.Westmeath
In the Girls U11 race Aoife Cummins came home in 88th. In the Boys U11 Mark Sugrue was the first Bandon athlete home in an excellent 34th place, Mark O'Sullivan was 75th and David O'Brien was 87th. In the Girls U15 Lynda O'Donovan came 46th. Lynda was the 5th athlete home for the Cork County team and as a result won a Bronze Inter County All Ireland medal. In the Boys U15 race John Hurley was 61st and he was followed by Ronan Duggan(70th), Michael Hurley (93rd) and Brian Chelius (100) (more results)

Medal winners on the day included David O’Brien, Joanne O’Regan, Ailis Crowley, Mark Sugrue, Sipka O’Shaughnessy and Lynda O ‘Donovan. (more results)
Munster Uneven Age Cross Country 2nd Nov, Rathgormack in Co.Waterford
Boys under 9 and 15 won team prizes and individual medals on the day went to Mark Sugrue and Ciaran Everard. Bandon Boys U10 team came 2nd. (more results)
County Even Age Cross Country
Individual medals went to Joanne O'Regan and Lynda O'Donovan with Bandon winning team gold in 2 events (Girls U14 and Boys U12) and also taking silver in 3 other ages groups (Girls U10, Girls U12 and Boys U10) (more results)
County Uneven Age Cross Country
Bandon dominated the team events winning an incredible 6 1st team prizes in the Juvenile races. Boys U9, U11 and U15. Girls U9, U11 and Girls U15. Individual Juvenile medals on the day went to Emer Cummins, Lynda O'Donovan, Jerry Crowley, Thomas McCarthy, Mark Sugrue, John Hurley and Michael Hurley.
Joe O'Sullivan was 4th in the Mens Novice `B`. In the Ladies Novice `B` Margaret Calnan was 4th as the novice `B` Ladies team also won a team 1st prize on the day.
